Originally known as sturdy and practical but rarely stylish, denim has become a go-to garment that’s essential to any stylish wardrobe. This season, denim in all shades and washes is more trendy than ever. From jeans to shirts to jackets to accessories, denim is playing a vital roll in completing so many fashion-forward looks.

Everyone…and I repeat everyone…needs a denim jacket! You can wear it as shown in the below picture with jeans or you can throw it on over a summer dress. (Yes,  you can wear your denim jacket with your favorite pair of jeans. I recommend mixing different washes in order to keep the look current.) You can wear a jean jacket with almost anything!
