In my opinion, a girl cannot have enough laying tanks in your wardrobe. Layering tanks need to be different than workout tanks and long length and a smooth fit is a must. As the weather turns cooler this Fall (here’s hoping temps will change soon!), layering tanks become a critical building block in a woman’s wardrobe. A ribbed tank looks great under cardigans, jackets, blazers, vests and are, of course, useful under itchy winter sweaters.

This Extra Long Ribbed Tank by Stem is amazingly soft and long in length, making it the ideal tank to layer with anything, including wearing with tighter-fitting leggings or jeggings in the coming months. (Note, what makes these tanks awesome for layering is that they lay smooth and a bit clingy to the body. These tanks look much better worn under another layer rather than worn on their own, since they are a bit sheer.) Though these tanks are advertised at $26 online, they are currently just $13.90 in Nordstom stores! I highly recommend stocking up on three basic colors:: white, black and gray. These three shades will mix and match with nearly everything imaginal and get you througha year’s worth of layered outfits! Want the deal but don’t live near a Nordstrom? Simply call the TBD department at a Nordstrom store and ask them to ship the on-sale tanks to you!
