Here are some favorite things under $60…

1) Headbands are currently one of my most favorite accessories! I have to try to restrain myself from wearing one everyday! Love this one:: J.Crew’s Deco-Jeweled Headband ($36.50). What a gorgeous accessory that any gal can wear!

2) My all-time favorite day-timer is the momAgenda. Frankly, I am obsessed with this agenda. I am on my third year of keeping my life organized with one! 3) Everyone appreciates new PJ’s at Christmas-time! How adorable is this cherry-print pajama set by DKNY?! I love that they are shaped for a more feminine fit and have 3/4 length sleeves. ($58 at Nordstrom.com)

4) These Garden Party Chandelier ($54 at Stelladot.com) statement earrings are instant chic. I can’t wear mine enough and get compliments on them all the time! I’ve yet to meet a woman that doesn’t adore them. They are a safe-bet Christmas present, for sure!

5) I could literally live in my Zella Favorite Pants. Perfect for working out or lounging, these pants are amazingly flattering and comfy! Whether she’s a size 0 or 12, I’m confident she’ll love these pants as much as I do. (Normally $49.50, these pants are now on sale for $33.50 at Nordstrom.com!)

Get Vested

There’s few layering pieces easier to throw on than a vest. Whether layered over tees, turtlenecks, button-downs or sweaters, I love the warmth and comfort a puffy-vest provides. There are so many fun vests to choose from this season, making it easy to add a bit of extra style to your cold-weather wardrobe. For the most flattering cut, make sure a vest has a internal pull-tie to cinch the waist or that the vest cuts in at the waist.

I can’t beleive this vest by Faded Glory is just $7 at Walmart! I’m a fan of the shine and this pretty teal shade, though this vest is also available in other colors.

There is something so fresh-looking about a white vest. This one’s a great basic at Old Navy for $34.

This deep coral vest by JCrew (currently on sale for $98) is such a fun color! Love it! Don’t forget vests can be easily dressed up with a skinny belt (as pictured).

The Best Layering Tee

It’s no easy feat to find that perfect long-sleeve tee that is ultra comfy yet slim enough to fit under cardis, vests, jackets and sweaters. When the weather cools down, there are few things more practical in ones wardrobe than a couple great layering tees. If you have the right ones, you will find yourself pairing them with everything and getting dressed with ease. I’ve yet to find a better staple long-sleeved tee than J.Crew’s tissue tee. These tees are super soft, high quality and not only look good layered, but also can be worn by themselves. These tees are only available online at JCrew.com and today they are all 20% off. It’s the perfect time to stock up!

These are the three styles I recommend…all are great-looking and fitting. It’s just personal preference. If you only want to purchase one or two for everyday basics, I recommend getting one black and one white, since one of the the two will pair with essentially everything.
