Men’s Style Monday:: Sleek Boots

Although I’m a huge fan of rugged, western boots, but there are also times when a sleek, sophisticated pair are just more appropriate [think casual work-day, night on the town, etc]. I’m liking many of the men’s ankle boots styles current this season. Whether you sport a sueded or shiny leather or black or brown, these boots will easily mix and match with anything from jeans to cords to khakis and dress slacks.

A few to consider::

The RJ Colt – Zeus (Dark Brown) ($124 at Zappos.com Men’s Shoes) has some serious style. I like the stitching and stud detail.

You can’t get more classic than this pair of Men’s ‘Santino’ Pull-on Boots from Banana Republic (also in available in Black, $160). These will be a pair to remain a wardrobe staple and last you for years to come.

Outdoorsy guys, it’s your season! The 2009 fall trends have you in mind.
