Spring is the best time of year to evaluate your layering basics. By “basics” I mean your white, ivory and black tanks, tees and camis. These are building blocks of every female wardrobe, and usually need replacing every few years. {Often whites need replaced annually.} Life is too short to wear a tattered, pilled or mis-fitting tee! As you go evaluate your layering pieces, be ruthless about discarding dis-colored, misshapen pieces and replace with a few new quality staples. I promise you’ll be so glad you did!

Tanks ::
The Gap Essential Rib Tank is my absolute favorite fitting tank. It has the perfect amount of stretch, doesn’t loose its shape as you wear it and is thick enough to wear alone. Camisoles ::
The Shimera Two-Way Seamless Camisole has been a go-to favorite of mine and of many Edit clients for years. This cami is reversable, and can be worn as a scoop or v-neck. It is the perfect weight and texture to layer comfortably under anything sheer or with a low-neck. I recommend having a white/ivory, nude and black cami as your staples.
Tees ::
It’s a lot harder than most think to find a great-fitting tee shirt. Tee-shirts are personal, in that something that fits me well might not be your favorite. But out of all the tees I have tried on myself and clients over the past year, the J.Crew Vintage Cotton Tee is a front runner. {This tee is available in both a v-neck, my personal favorite, and a scoop neck.} The material is super soft and breathable for hot days and the fit of this tee is forgiving and flattering.
