I get asked a lot about my go-to makeup products a lot and I always love seeing what is in other’s people’s makeup bags, so I thought it would be fun to do a post dedicated to what is in my makeup bag!
These are the cosmetics I use each and every day. It may seem like a lot, but I can do my entire makeup routine in less than 10 minutes, and usually do it in the car {while sitting at stop lights!} while buzzing around Atlanta!
Face ::
I always prep my face with an SPF lotion. This one is my go-to since it’s light and non-greasy. I also add a layer of this Smashbox primer for photo shoots, special events and/or days where I’ll be wanting to keep my makeup in place through evening.

it Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer :: After applying foundation, I dab this amazing concealer around my eyes and blend in with my Beauty Blender. This is hands-down the best under-eye concealer I have ever used.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser in “Brightener/Illuminator.” I use this concealer to highlight under my eyes by drawing a “V” shape under each eye and then patting it in with my Beauty Blender. I also use this around my nose and on any blemishes/discolored areas on my face.

Bobby Brown Bronzing Powder in Natural. A good powder bronzer is one of the most important makeup items to me! I have tried dozens and dozens of bronzing powders over the years, and always come back to this one, my tried and true favorite.
it Cosmetics Complexion Perfection Palette. After bronzing my face, I always add a stroke of highlighter and blush. This palette is a new addition to my makeup bag, and I love that includes a pressed powder, bronzer, blush and highlighter in one!! All are perfect shades. The Rodial Instagram Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder is my other favorite highlighter.
Mac Powder Blush. I love the color variety of Mac blushes, and that they give great pigment for an affordable price point. Fleur Power is a year-round favorite shade, and I just picked up Lovecloud, a pretty pinky shade for Spring.
BeautyCounter Nourishing Rosewater Mist. I love setting my makeup with this amazing mist. It smells so good, and is also a great “pick me up” to spray on throughout the day. I also spray it on before touching up my makeup for evening!
Eyes ::
L’oreal Infallible 24 hour Eye Shadow. This is my favorite drug store makeup find, ever! I use the shade “Iced Latte” each and every day! It’s the perfect neutral to wear to wake up your eyes, even when running to the gym. It’s also a great base to layer all other colors. I also love the shade “Amber Rush,” a gorgeous rose gold that is so pretty in the creases or all over for a more metallic look!
It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow Palette. This is the perfect eyeshadow palette of really every shade you could want or need!
NYX Retractable Eyeliner. These are another go-to cheapie purchase. These lines are just so good for the price. I stash them in black, brown and bronze, which is such a pretty shade for everyday.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. If you don’t fill in your eyebrows each day, you need to start ASAP! It’s absolutely amazing the difference it makes! I’ve tried a bunch of different brown pencils, but this one is my favorite, simply because the color is great and it’s quick and foolproof to use. {Remember how I said I usually do my makeup while in my car?! If I can shape my brows with this pencil, anyone can!} I use the shade Warm Blonde.
Two Face Better Than Sex Mascara. This hands-down my favorite mascara in the world. It’s life-changing! My runner-up fav is it Cosmetics Superhero Mascara.
Lips ::
It’s no secret that I love lipstick and lipgloss! It’s hard to pick a single favorite, since I have so many brands and types in my stash, but these are my primary go-to’s.
Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor. This is my top-pick for staying power. I have this in two shades, Fashion Legacy, which is one of the prettiest reds ever {I wear this red year round}, and in Personal Statement, which is a fun pink for Spring/Summer.
Chanel Rouge Allure Colour & Shine Lip Gloss. This is a new one for me this season. It’s perfect for all of you who like sheer color and a lot of hydration. It feels so good on the lips! I have the shade Super Coral.
Nars Lipgloss. This pinky shade, Priscilla, was my go-to gloss last summer, and I’ll be sure to be restocking it this season. This was the gloss I kept multiple tubes of all summer…one in my purse, one in my pool bag, etc.
NYX Intense Buttergloss. These are my favorite cheap lip glosses. They are super moisturizing, have a ton of pigment and amazing staying power! My favorite shades are Tres Leches, Napolean, Spice Cake and Pink Macaroon.
Mac Lipstick and Lipgloss in Girl About Town. I somehow failed to photograph my absolute favorite hot pink shade for Spring/Summer. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve been seeing me wear this color A LOT lately! It’s super flattering on everyone I have seen it on, and just an all around gorgeous color. I wear it both the lipstick and the lipgloss, sometimes layered together, and sometimes each alone, depending on how much of a statement I want!
Last but least, I have been using these Patchology Flashpatch 5 minute Lip Renewal Hydrogels over the past few months and am obsessed! They make my lips so smooth, soft and plump! These are my new-go to before photo shoots and night’s out!
