Anthropologie dress | Sam Edelman boots | similar hat | Baublebar earrings | similar sunglasses
Happy Monday, friends! Disclaimer, I am not sure how I did this, but I wrote this post on December 12th and realized tonight that it never published! So I am now re-writing parts of this post to make sense now that the Holiday’s are behind us, but the great thing about this dress is that it really does work in any season!
I love finding a dress that can be worn during multiple seasons of the year,, and this fun pop-color one is not only holiday festive…it can be worn straight through the Spring! I love that the skirt has great movement and that it has pockets! This dress can be layered with a faux fur vest or denim jacket, too. It’s flattering and the pattern and bold colors are just SO FUN! I think color is so important to incorporate into a winter wardrobe when everything seems drab, so this dress is a perfect piece!
As far as sizing goes, I would say this dress runs a tad small, especially through the bust. I usually can wear a size 2 in Anthropologie dresses, but I am wearing a size 4 in this one. It’s a longer cut, so perfect for you long-legged gals! If you are shorter than me {5’6 or under}, I recommend getting a Petite.
If you are on the hunt for a great pair of tall boots, I am really loving this pair. They are sleek, comfortable and can dress up or down. These are now on sale and come in three colors…a great staple that you will love for years.
And if you are thinking about how to wear this dress into Spring, a neutral wedge sandal would be perfect!
Stylishly yours,
