When it comes to a holiday dressing, a day-to-night dress is a must. In fact, t’s a wardrobe essential any time of year!

A chic, not-too-fancy dress that can be worn for day and then dressed up a bit for night saves time and allows you to be out and about from day time festivities to evening events without running home to change! {On such days, I like to wear a versatile dress and then pack a change of shoes and accessories for evening and change them out quickly…usually in my car!}

This black and white fit-and-flare dress is a perfect example of such a dress. It’s stylish and classy and can take you anywhere. I love it paired an over the knee boot or classic pump for day and then with a lace up heel, like the ones I am wearing here, for evening. {Since sizing is running low in this dress, I found an almost identical version here.} A fit-and-flare style dress is particularly perfect since it’s universally flattering and always classic.
