Denim shorts are a summer essential, because, just like jeans, they GO WITH EVERYTHING and can dress UP or DOWN!
In fact, if there was just one type of shorts that I could have in my wardrobe, it would be denim…preferably a blue denim and a white denim option!
I have been getting SO many questions about my favorite denim shorts this season, and here is my round-up ::
1. The Able Cutoff. I love the mid-length and slouchy “boyfriend” fit of this pair. Plus, this amazing company gives back, making your purchase have a purchase. I sized up one size for a perfectly slouchy fit. {I also love this similar pair from Old Navy.}
2. The AG Bryn Highrise. These are hands-down my favorite denim shorts purchase of the year. They are pricy, but worth every penny. The fit, length and wash are perfect, and the material is soft and stretchy making them ultra-comfy. I like that the darker wash allows them to dress up a bit, too! I am wearing my typical jeans size in this pair.
3. The Red Dress Boutique When I Feel Like It white denim shorts. This $46 white denim pair is a new favorite this season. I sized up {wearing a medium} but the fit is perfect. I like the longer fringe and high-waist fit, and you cannot beat the price!
4. The Old Navy 3″ Denim Cutoff. This pair is the best inexpensive pair I have found! If you are looking for a casual pair that won’t break the bank, these are a must-try. I recommend sizing up!
5. The Blank Boyfriend Denim Short. If you are looking for a cuffed denim short, this pair is my favorite. I bought this pair last summer {as you can tell by my short hair!} and still wear them all the time. Blank denim shorts are one of my go-to brands for affordable, great fitting styles. {Blank usually fits true to size.}
