She has captured our hearts with memorable characters such as June Carter and Elle Woods, but Reese Witherspoon is taking on a different role these days with a new line of clothing, vintage inspired jewelry, handbags, and home accessories. Named after her grandparents, Draper James is a lifestyle brand that marries southern tradition with great style.
Her line features bright floral prints, classic tweeds, embellished details, and of course signature pieces branded with southern sayings like “hello sugar” and “it’s fall ya’ll”. You can find just about anything you need to host a party and be the best dressed at one.
I am honored to be featured on the Draper James Blog today as a guest stylist for “What to Wear Honky Tonkin”. I chose two completely different looks for a night out on Broadway with a few ideas on making each look a little more versatile. Like Reese, I was inspired by my own grandmother, who was a style icon in her time. I brought her along with me in two vintage bracelets that were once in her own wardrobe.
