If you’re someone who enjoys browsing through fashion magazines, deciphering which seasonal trends are “doable” and “wearable” can be tough…especially when it seems there are about a hundred trends per season!
Fortunately {at least in my opinion}, most of this season’s primarly trends are wearable and are a continuation from last Fall. We’ll be diving into each of these trends {plus many more} here on the blog in the upcoming weeks, but in the mean time, here are five very-wearable Fall trends for every age and body-type.
1. Denim, denim, denim. Fom jeans to vests to jackets, denim is all the rage this season. In fact, jeans are taking on all different shades and styles :: from bright-hued to gray to black; skinny to straight and boyfriend to flared; prints and patterns to coated fabrics and zippered-legs; mid-rise to high-waisted, jeans are the must-have staple for Fall! {Click here to see Lauren and Sherri’s “tried-on-and-tested” denim picks from the Gap and Madewell!}
2. Leather details. Leather jackets, leather leggings and leather pants are statement makers this season, but if “dominate” leather is not your style, opt for pieces with leather details such as a top with leather trim, leather riding boots and/or a fashion-forward leather handbag. {Click here to see how Sherri is utilizing a leather jacket to transition a sundress into Fall.}
3. Graphic tees. Graphic tees are the new way to dress down any look, while making a statement and adding a trendy-flare. Tuck a graphic tee into a pencil skirt, pair one with jeans and blazer or layer one under a leather jacket. The possibilities are endless, and these printed tees make for a fun way to personalize your style. {Click here to see how Jackie recently rocked one of her graphic tees.}
4. Ankle booties. Ankle booties are back this season and better than ever. Wedge, high-heeled, low-heeled and flat options are plentiful this Fall. You can’t go wrong! Just pick a pair {or two} that flatters your leg and pair with everything from skirts to jeans to dresses to cords.
5. Leopard print. Leopard print is considered a neutral for good reason…it literally pairs with everything from brights to black to neutrals. Look for a leopard blouse, pair of heels or flats and/or a clutch purse to add a pop of animal print to your Fall wardrobe.
