Joss & Main Boy’s Bedroom Reveal

I’m excited to team up with Joss & Main again today to reveal my son, Jack’s bedroom, that I created with the help of design-blogger, Joni of Lay Baby Lay. If you missed Jack’s twin sister, Lily’s, bedroom reveal on the blog yesterday, be sure to check it out here.

When designing a room for six-year-old Jack, there was only thing that really mattered to him :: that it incorporated Star Wars!

Joni and I loved creating a Star Wars-inspired space that doesn’t feel juvenile and that can grow up with Jack. In fact, we’re convinced Star Wars fans of any age will love this room!

We selected these dark bronze twin beds that help ground the room and will be beds to last him for years. I wanted twin beds in Jack’s room for future sleepovers and to give houseguests an extra place to sleep if need be, and love the classic and masculine look of this setA light blue nightstand to adds a playful punch of color to the room.

I have to mention that Jack’s new twin mattresses are from Joss & Main and they are SO comfortable. I am shocked by how quality these mattresses are for the affordable price. My husband and I have both chosen to take naps on these beds because they are just so comfy!

Wall art played a big part in creating the room’s Star Wars theme. These vintage posters of Boba Fett and Han Solo by Concepcion Studios could not be cooler! Framebridge framed these two posters in their sleek Irvine Slim frame so that they will last the test of time. I have a strong feeling that Jack will be asking to take these to college with him!

The giant moon canvas makes such a fun “space” statement and this X-Wing Fighter Patent Print above Jack’s nightstand gives another nod to Star Wars.

This handsome dresser is one of my favorite pieces in Jack’s room, and another piece that I know will grow with Jack. It’s such a well-made piece and I love its unique legs.

We created a reading nook in the corner of Jack’s room. He loves that this end table provides storage for his Pokeman cards, legos and other treasures. This chair will be a versatile piece as Jack grows up since it can double as a desk chair.

We added shelves between the windows to add space to store and showcase books and nicnacks. These were affordable and super easy to install!

We painted the walls a soft gray called “Rock Candy” by Sherwin Williams, using their new super-durable Emerald Paint. Edge2Edge Painting did a fantastic job painting the room.

This statement light fixture, which Jack claims looks like just a spaceship, is another favorite in his room. It totally completes the room’s space-theme, and helps the room appear larger since we hung it lower on the room’s tall ceiling. We put this light on a dimmer and it doubles as the perfect nightlight!

Jack could not be more proud of his new “big boy” room and his mama loves it, too! If you are looking for a cute gift idea for a little Star Wars fan, Jack’s PJ’s are super cute and cozy!

All of these Joss & Main pieces are on a limited-time sale. You can shop all the furniture and accessories featured in one place here.

Joni and I are excited to be taking over the Joss & Main Instagram account today! Head over for lots of design tips throughout the day! Also, read an interview with us about the creation of both Jack and Lily’s room on the Joss & Main site here.

Stylishly yours,

A giant THANK YOU to Joss & Main for sponsoring this bedroom makeover and to Joni of Lay Baby Lay for designing the space. Thank you to Sherwin Williams for providing the paint and Edge2Edge for painting the room. All opinions are completely my own, and I am so grateful for all of these amazing partners who made this project happen!
