Lauren’s Skincare Edit :: Newly Updated!

Since Beautycounter, my go-to clean beauty brand for the past decade, closed it’s doors, I have been trying out a plethora of new products from Oliveda, a super-clean, water-less beauty brand from Europe. Oliveda has only been in the US for a little over a year and is taking the clean beauty market by storm. These are some of the most luxe, high-performing + concentrated skincare products I have ever tried and I noticed an immediate glow to my skin upon using them. Oliveda’s star ingredient, hydroxytyrosol, replaces water. It is bio-active and tremendously healing to the skin, reducing inflammation and acting as a antioxident, which is helpful to all skin types. I have noticed a newfound glow, evenness and younger-looking appearance to my skin since incorporating some Oliveda products, mixed in with a few of my tried-and-true Colleen Rothschild favorites.

Morning Routine ::

  1. Purifying Facial Cleanser :: My favorite cleanser I have ever used. It’s luxe, a little goes a long way, smells amazing and gives skin a clean glow. A bonus is that the bottle travels nicely. The Corrective Facial Cleanser is another Oliveda best seller, especially if your face is dryer/aged.
  2. Matcha Tea Treatment Toner :: This toner is a refreshing way to start the day. It detoxifies skin, reduces the look of pores and is the perfect prep for serums to follow. Code LAUREN20.
  3. Vitamin C :: The hands-down best Vitamin C I have ever tried…and I have tried a lot over the years! It’s so concentrated…a little goes a long way and my first bottle lasted for over 5 months!
  4. Glow “Cell Active” Serum :: This was the first Oliveda serum I tried and I could  immediately tell it was different in texture/concentration and waterless. It gives instant glow, and is suitable for most skin types. It also helps tighten skin. It’s a must!
  5. Botox in a Bottle :: This Corrective Serum is super similar to the Cell Active serum above, so technically you don’t need both. This serum contains a natural skin tightening agent called paracress. Paracress combined with hydroxtyrosol has a lifting effect on the skin. It reduced the appearance of large pores, smoothes fine lines and wrinkles and reduces hyperpigmentation. The paracress acts as a botox alternative. It lifts the skin and creates a sculpted look within minutes. I noticed a big difference.
  6. Illuminating Eye Cream :: My go-to morning eye cream! Love that this eye cream instantly brightens and neutralizes under-eye circles while helping decrease fine lines, dryness, and puffiness. Hyaluronic acid helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while caffeine targets puffiness and water retention. Code LAUREN20.
  7. Hot Day Moisturizer :: Lily and I both love this lightweight moisturizer. It’s perfect for combo skin and warmer/humid months for me, and year-round for her! Code LAUREN20.
  8. Cool Weather Moisturizer :: This one is a bit thicker but still perfect for daytime. I will be transitioning to this for Fall/Winter.

Evening Routine ::

Purifiying Cleanser :: Same as morning.

Resurfacing Peel Pads :: One of my “ride or die” skincare musts. I have been using these every single night for 6+ years. To make mine last longer, I cut in half. Awesome for deep cleaning, brightening, exfoliating and fighting blemishes. Code LAUREN20.

Overnight Peel :: If you loved the Beautycounter Overnight Peel, this one is a great replacement. Perfect for aging, hyper-pigmented as well as breakout-prone skin. I use a few nights a week.

Midnight Elixer :: One of my absolute favorite Oliveda products. This is a safe retinol that feels amazingly hydrating on the skin, and gives you glowey skin when you wake up. During summer months, I use this as a last step and don’t even need a night cream on top.

Eye Serum :: This stuff is amazing! It’s like “Botox in a bottle” for your eyes! I apply around my eyes, mainly on the outside where lines form, each evening, under eye-cream

Anti-wrinkle Eye Cream :: This eye cream has replaced my Beautycounter Countertime eyecream. It’s also suitable for the daytime.

Corrective Night Cream :: This has replaced my Beautycounter Countertime nightcream.

Daily/weekly “extras” that I cannot live without ::

Oliveda Lip Balm :: Move over Leneige, this is truly the best lip balm ever! I never thought I would like something more than Leneige for moisturizing my lips, but this simple balm has impressed me oh-so-much! I have it stashed everywhere.

Colleen Rothschild Dual Enzyme Polish :: I have been using this as my manual face exfoliator for 8+ years, and I have yet to find one better! I use it at least twice weekly in the shower. My trick is to wash my face, apply this all over in a circular motion and then let it sit on my skin while I shave my legs and wash my body. Skin is so smooth after and makeup applies flawlessly!

Honey Enzyme Face Mask :: My favorite face mask I have ever used and the product that sold me on Oliveda! This mask delivers instant glow and skin tightening. Perfect to apply anytime, and especially before an event!

Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Eye Patches :: The best eye patches ever! I LOVE applying these in the morning…and would apply every day if I could! They make a big difference in under-eye circles, hydration and reduce puffiness significantly.

The Skinny Confidential Ice Roller :: Best ice roller I have ever tried! I keep mine in the freezer and love rolling my face most mornings, especially when my face looks tired and/or puffy.

Clarins V-Facial Mask :: I have been using and loving this “viral” mask for years! It’s infamous for de-puffing the face, and the difference is noticable. I use before events and any time my face feels puffy! I concentrate it mostly on the chin, cheeks, upper neck. Combining this with the ice roller above is a magical combo!

Oliveda Blemish Control Face Mask :: My twins and I both love this for breakouts. Can be applied all over the face or as a spot treatment!

For all you Beautycounter lovers, here are some Oliveda “swap cheat sheets” that may be helpful!
