Summer is officially in full swing {hooray!} and it’s time to make sure your skin looking its best, since this is the season where it’s showcased the most! Over the next four weeks, the Edit team is excited to share some of our current favorite beauty and makeup products with you. I, Lauren, am kicking it off today.
Here are three products I’m newly converted to and absolutley loving…
The Dior Addict Fluid Stick is hands-down my favorite new go-to gloss. It’s an all-in-one hybrid product that combines maximum color impact, glossy shine and a no-makeup feel in a single lip color, boasting sensational color, wear and comfort. It feels cool on the lips {perfect for summer pool days} and wears for hours. I’m wearing the shade Wonderland {pictured}, a gorgeous coral/hot pink shade.
As I have talked about many times before, I am a junkie when it comes to self-tanner. I usually prefer customized spray tans for events, but when my go-to tanning gal wasn’t able to spray me for a recent event, she recommended I try St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse. This is hands down the best self-tanner I have ever tried. It gives the look of a custom spray tan within approximately 6 hours…so much so that I have people asking me where I spray tan whenever I use it!
If you try this self tanner {which I highly recommend you do}, you must, I repeat MUST purchase the application mitt {sold seperatly}. I learned this the hard way by applying the mousse directly onto my hands the first time I used it. Within about 2 minutes of the foam absorbing into my hands, they were dark brown and I found myself frantically using every soap in my house to scrub the stain out! Please learn from my scare and pump the mousse directly onto the mitt, and you shouldn’t have any trouble!! {This tanner is on the pricer side at $42, but it gives you about 15-20 applications, making it much less expensive than spray tanning. Worth every penny in my book!}
When a friend introduced me to Beautycounter’s Lustro Face Oil a few weeks ago, I was a bit skeptical. My skin tends to be on the oilier side, so I have never imagined putting oil on it!
