MORNING ::
Step 1 :: Cleanse with Beautycounter Countercontrol Gel Cleanser :: I love a squeaky clean feel after cleansing so this one is perfect. It has exfoliating beads and my whole family uses it. Perfect for oily, combo, breakout-prone skin, or for anyone who prefers a gel cleanser.
Step 2 :: Tone with Beautycounter Countertime Hydrating Essence :: I pat this essence into skin after cleansing, no cotton ball needed. It smells amazing and gives skin an instant radiance.
Step 3 :: Beautycounter Vitamin C Serum :: Every woman should be using a Vitamin C Serum daily and this one is my absolute favorite on the market. Apply right after toning to face, neck and chest.
Step 4 :: Beautycounter Tripeptide Radiance Serum :: This serum is my secret to glowing skin! It has plant-based retinols that target aging. Since it’s thinner than the Vitamin C Serum, it’s best to apply as the second serum. {Always apply serums thickest to thinnest.}
Step 5 :: Beautycounter Countersun Sunscreen :: Never skin sunscreen, even on a cloudy day! This thin, light and non-greasy sunscreen is perfect under makeup. I wear it each and every day, and my family loves it for beach/pool/lake days. Since my skin is combination, this sunscreen provides enough moisture during the Spring/Summer months. When my skin needs an extra-dose of hydration, I layer with the Countertime Soft Cream, which I love for a daytime moisturizer.
Step 6 :: Beautycounter Countertime Eye Cream :: Just like sunscreen, never skimp on the eye-cream. I started wearing eye-cream each day from age 13 on and swear it’s prevented crows-feet! This eye cream is super-luxe, and a little goes a long way. It lasts at least 6 months, as do most of the Countertime products. If you prefer a lighter eye cream, I also like the Beautycounter Countercontrol Eye Cream, and often swap to that during hot summer days.
EVENING ::
Step 1 :: Cleanse with Beautycounter Countercontrol Cleanser :: If I am wearing a lot of makeup, I will do a double-cleanse with the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm first and then the Countercontrol Cleanser second.
Step 2 :: Tone with Colleen Rothschild Glycolic Peel Pads :: These tingle-producing pads do an amazing job at removing last traces of makeup and dirt, and help produce more smooth and radiant skin.
Step 3 :: Beautycounter Overnight Peel :: My ride or die evening skincare product. Everyone needs this peel in their skincare routine. It does it all :: combats hyperpigmentation, clears blemishes, keeps pores clear, makes skin smooth, targets fine lines. Always give the peel at least 5 minutes to absorb before applying a moisturizer.
Step 4 :: Beautycounter Balancing Face Oil :: Since my skin is combo, I prefer a face oil to a night cream, especially in the warmer seasons. {Although I do love the ultra-luxe Beautycounter Countertime Night Cream and use primarily during the winter months.} This Balancing Oil was one of the first products that converted me to love Beautycounter! It moisturizes and also keeps skin clear! If you have dryer skin, you would probably prefer this very popular Brightening Face Oil.
