Track pants have to be the most comfortable trend of the season. These slouchy pants feel like lounge/sweat pants, but offer stylish versatility for day-to-evening wear.
I’ve been fielding quite a few questions from clients and blog followers about how to style track pants. Here are a few tips ::

Pair track pants with a plain, solid top. A tee, tank or plain-front blouse like I am pictured wearing are ideal. Stay clear of bold prints and/or lots of buttons. {Exception :: I do like stripes with track pants, and find them an easy pattern to style.}
Layer with a fitted jacket in cooler weater. A denim or leather jacket, as well as a boyfriend-style blazer, is perfect for carrying track pants into Fall.
To balance out the slouchiness of track pants, wear with a wedge or a heeled shoe. Anything from a pump to a wedge sandal to a caged bootie, like I am wearing below, is perfect.
Add a statement accessory. A pop-color pendant necklace, bold earrings and/or bangle bracelets help “feminize” and dress up track pant ensembles, and help them transition from super-casual to a bit “dressed up.”
