Meet my favorite tee shirt of the season. And one of my top five favorite tees EVER.
This Free People henley tee is SO good that I have already purchased it in two colors {in red and in white} and just ordered a third in black. It comes in six colors and I just might have to collect them all.
Why is it so amazing?! It’s comfy and flattering. It looks equally fabulous with jeans or shorts. It’s fun layered under a long cardigan, and it can be styled multiple ways {see pics below}.
It’s truly the go-to top I will be reaching for all Spring/Summer. Note that this tee runs large, so be sure to size down. I am wearing an XS.
Here are three ways to wear this amazingly versatile tee ::
1. Front-tucked. Just a simple front tuck looks fabulous paired with skinny jeans or shorts. I recommend wearing this tee front-tucked if you layer under a cardigan or jacket for a slightly more polished look.
2. Side-Knotted. This is my favorite way to style this tee. Simply take some of the fabric on either side and tie into a knot, and then tuck the front in a bit, if you wish. I like that the top is long enough to adjust the knot to wherever you want it to hit your torso. It also gives a completely different look if you tie a center front knot and let the sides hang loose! {See the model here for an example.}
3. Off the shoulder. For an evening or festival look, I love this tee worn slouchy, off-one-shoulder. This look would be cute paired with a denim skirt, too!
I layered this pretty bralette under and unbuttoned a few buttons. If you are looking for a perfect bralette for summer, I highly recommend this one by Free People or this one that is a steal on Amazon!
If you follow me on Instagram/Instastories, you will see more of how I wear and style this tee in the coming weeks.
So, what are you waiting for?! Scoop up this tee and please send me a pic of how you are styling it either via Instagram @laurenlefevre or email lauren@editbylauren.com. I would love to see and share the ways you all are wearing it for Spring.
Stylishly yours,
