Part of my job when shopping for clients is putting together outfits with items that are priced affordably. It’s a challenge at times, but fun helping people find those steals and deals. However, nothing drives me more crazy than walking into a closet and seeing several items with the price tags still attached.
Sometimes sale items are on sale for a reason. Don’t get hung up on an extra discount and go crazy with a pile of stuff you don’t need.
Here are a few tips to consider when sale shopping.
* Try everything on. EVERYTHING.
* If buying online, read reviews. There might be a reason why something is on sale.
* Make sure that you have something in your closet to wear with an item you are buying. Can you come up with 2-3 outfit combinations?
* Would you buy this item of clothing at regular price or are you buying it because of the $_.99 price tag?
There are a lot of great end of summer sales going on and many items are perfect purchases to wear now and take you into the Fall season.
