Spring Break is just three weeks away for us, and I am already planning my beach-y wardrobe! We are headed back to Anna Maria Island and I cannot wait for sunshine, warm weather, clear water and days spent out on the beach and our boat.
Here are my must-have’s for Spring Break ::
Oversized sunnies. I own these in black and love them, so I just purchased the same style in white for Spring Break!

Water-proof slides. To keep packing as minimal as possible, I always include a pair of slides that can transition from the beach to dinner. This jelly pair is so cute…I just ordered the pink!
A sarong coverup. A sarong is my go-to cover-up style for the lake/pool/beach, since it’s so easy to throw on for walking, throwing a frisbee/football on the beach or hanging out on our boat. I bought this one for last Spring Break and love it. This two-for-$12 pack from Amazon is similar and super affordable. I own the black/white duo, too.
Woven bag. I usually only pack one handbag for beach trips, and always make it a neutral woven one that can go from day to night. This $35 Target one is super cute!
Cover-up dress. I always pack at least one cover-up dress for a beach trip to take me from the beach to a water-side lunch! I recently purchased this one and love the fit.
Sand-proof beach bag. This tote is easy to pack, light-weight and just $15! I find that my beach bags get pretty destroyed after a few months so I like that this one is inexpensive to replace. Flattering one-piece swimsuit. A well-fitting one-piece is my go-to. This ruffle-sleeve style from Summersalt is one of my go-to’s…I like it so much, I own it in three colors/prints.
A fun hat. Don’t forget a stylish hat for extra sun protection! I am loving these colorful banded ones, as well as this chic solid white one.
Denim shorts. I wear denim shorts more than almost any wardrobe piece while at the beach. I love that a well-fitting pair of cut-offs can double as a swim cover-up, be worn casually to lunch or dinner and dressed up with a blouse and wedge sandals for dinner! This pair are my go-to’s.
Water-proof bangles. These Amazon bangles are my staple jewelry item while on or around the water! I have three sets {I stack the gold-only} and have enjoyed them for three years straight. I wear in the ocean/pool/lake and they hold up great…while making every swim look a bit more chic!
Striped tee. A striped tee is a summer-time and vacation essential. Pair with denim shorts, white jeans or white shorts. Always nautical and classic! I recently added this one to my striped shirt collection and it’s super cute!
