My family and I had the most wonderful Father’s Day weekend spent at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee. I have always heard amazing things about this resort, so I was very excited to experience it first hand!
The rustically elegant resort is nestled on beautiful Lake Oconee, about an hour outside of Atlanta. From the moment I stepped foot onto the property, I felt relaxed…like I was worlds away from busy life in Atlanta.

The grounds of the The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee are absolutely gorgeous. Not only is there a breathtaking lake view and water/boating activities to enjoy and experience; there are also premier golf courses, a large and luxe infinity pool, swings and hammocks throughout the property, a spa and bike trails and a fantastic kid’s program!

The Ritz’s friendly, accommodating staff made my husband and I feel like we were the only guests by the way were treated from our arrival through our stay.
I couldn’t believe how much there was to do without leaving the resort! My husband and I planned on making the weekend a getaway just for the two of us, but after seeing how kid-friendly The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is, we had our kiddos join us for the last day to experience the fun! They loved it, and asked if we could stay for an entire week! {Next time we visit, my kiddo’s are excited to be a part of the Ritz Kids program. All you parent’s will want to check it out!}
I enjoyed the most relaxing massage at the fabulous Ritz spa. This state-of-the-art spa is over 27,000 square feet! I highly recommend the aromatherapy massage with”Relax” blend of oils…it smelled and felt amazing!
We loved our experiences dining at the resort. Gaby’s on the Lake is a perfect casual dining spot for both lunch and dinner with a great view, pool access, great-tasting food and amazing cocktails. I recommend the signature Lobster Grilled Cheese, Parmesan Fries.
Georgia’s Bistro is a perfect dinner spot, featuring a fresh, organic, farm-to-table Southern-inspired cuisine. We loved sitting on the patio under the “twinkle lights” for a delicious dinner with a view. I highly recommend the delved eggs, shrimp and grits, and their signature buttermilk pie for dessert! It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time!

Another fun experience we had during our stay was a Tesla test-drive, in one of the fastest cars in the world! If you saw my Snaps that day, you saw first-hand how crazy fast this car is!!

One of our favorite things about The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee is the S’mores roasting under the stars every evening. This is such a fun, unique resort experience for adults and kids alike! The resort provides all the essentials needed for amazing S’mores and comfortable adirondack chairs to relax in around a fire.

I cannot more highly recommend the The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee for a couples or family getaway! It’s truly a place where you can show up and relax, whether it be for a night, a weekend or a week. There is something for everyone to enjoy, and I love that it is the kind of resort that provides as much or as little activity as you want. It’s also a gorgeous venue for weddings and events.
