White on white is a classic summer look and an easy look to recreate. I love that you can change up a white on white look easily with different textures and accessories, and have the option of keeping the entire look neutral or adding in pops of color!
The easiest way to create a white on white is to start with a white bottom :: either white jeans/ pants or white shorts. {The pair I am wearing here is a new purchase from Anthropologie that I am loving. Stretchy, comfy and a great length that can be adjusted shorter or longer.}
When you add a top, think a different texture. A textured shirt, sweater or blouse will always look better than a plan white tee. Or, if you add a white tee or tank, simply layer with a white/off white jacket, cardigan or flowy sweater. Layers and textures help make any white on white look more interesting! This textured top with pom sleeves from Anthro is such a great one, and also comes in a pretty coral.
I love adding statement shoes or accessories like a leopard shoe or a pop color earring or handbag to a white on white look, to let the fun accessory really shine! These textured Sole Society wedges add texture to any outfit while still playing a neutral, which is perfect when adding a bold bag or jewelry piece. This $59 tote is roomy and can be worn from shopping to the pool!
Last but not least, adding a hair tie or bandana is another great way to incorporate color into an outfit. I am loving Anthropologie’s selection of bandanas that look equally cute tied in the hair, around the neck or even on the handle of a tote or purse!
Happy Monday, friends!
Stylishly yours,
