Mike and I took a short, but super-fun and much-needed, getaway to Austin last week. We lived in Austin several years ago, and always love returning to eat our way around the city and see good friends. If you haven’t yet visited Austin, I highly recommend booking a trip for a couples or girls trip! You cannot beat the food, energy and overall vibe of the town. There is so much to do outdoors!
I picked up a few new items for the trip and truly loved everything I wore. Highly recommend each of these pieces. These white boots are a new Fall purchase and I am SO impressed with them. I wore them all three days we were in Austin and walked over 30k steps around the city in them, so I can vouch for their quality and comfort! This Buddy Love dress from Avara is dreamy! Perfect for any date night or evening occasion. I wore to dinner and drinks out on the town in Austin. I planned to wear it with heeled booties, but then opted for these trusty low-heeled bootie instead, since Mike and I drove scooters to dinner! This is truly a dress that you can dress up or down. The last day we were in Austin, I wore this new Free People kimono/maxi-top over a tee and denim shorts. This is a perfect day-time “Austin” outfit in my book, and I loved how this easy look came together. The colors in this kimono are vibrant and beautiful, and this piece will also layer over jeans. It can double as a swim-coverup, too!
